• Simply Automated devices transmit and receive lighting scene commands with other Simply Automated UPB dimmers, plug-in modules, fixture modules and other devices – can control virtually any device that connects to AC power wiring anywhere in the home.
• To ensure a proper installation your home should be no more than 2500 square feet and have only one breaker panel. A phase coupler is required in some home installations. Not intended for use in multi-dwelling (condo, apartment, duplex) units.

WIRED-IN REMOTE CONTROL FOR APPLIANCES AND LIGHTING. Simply Automated's Relay Fixture Module (Models UFR) delivers ON/OFF and timed-off control for lighting, appliances, fans and pump/motors up to 12A. It is a wire-in device designed to remotely control lighting using Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) commands and scene-links received over the powerline. These modules are easily added to a powerline network and configured for ultra-reliable dimming and On/Off control with UPStart software. They can also be directly wired/controlled with a remote switch (model USR) and provide a flexible, low-cost alternative to hardwired or RF home automation strategies. These modules fit easily inside a standard electrical junction box and have snap-off mounting ears for tighter installs; they can also mount to other surfaces using screws/ties. Fixture modules connect directly to the existing household power wiring. The light-load connected to the module can be operated manually using a UPB wall switch or multi-button controller, or automatically via scheduler-timer, PC or home automation server. Manual scene-link modification: These capabilities are unique to Simply Automated devices. A user can easily change existing scenes, add or remove devices and adjust light levels, by pressing rocker/buttons in a specific sequence without using UPStart. See User Guide for details.
