This is a thumb switch type hand control with a plug that has a STRAIGHT five (5) pin connector that unplugs EITHER IN THE SIDE POCKET OR THE BACK OF THE CHAIR; it plugs to an extension cable, and then that extension cable goes on down to either the motor or the transformer on the chair (depending on the chair type). Just follow your hand control cord down past the handle, and past the curly cord, and then look about 8"-10" past the curly part, you should find that straight connector. Our control will work for most any standard single motor chair that has the thumb switch type control and the quick disconnect plug shown in the small pictures above. It was originally sold for chairs with the newer Okin, Limoss, and FBS electrical systems., but will work on the older Dewert systems THAT HAVE ONLY ONE MOTOR IN THE CHAIR - IT WILL NOT WORK WITH A TWO MOTOR CHAIR!!
