(DIGIPACK) Modern Times is the ninth release by the Hot Club style group, Pearl Django. For over 12 years Pearl Django has remained as one of the most popular Django influenced groups in the US with sales approaching 60,000. Accordionist and recording engineer, David Lange, previously a guest artist on Pearl Django releases, is now a full-time member of the group. David adds a great deal in terms of composition, orchestration and general good taste to this project. The extremely talented guitarist Robin Nolan from Amsterdam is featured on two standards. The six originals and seven standards on this release show off the versatility and magnificent musicality of Pearl Django.
