Eleven

The eleventh release by Pearl Django celebrates a broader scope in music styles and the fine composition skills of the newest members, Troy, Ryan and David. And, as a bonus, there is an appearance by renowned guitarist Martin Taylor on 3 tracks. Martin penned two of the compositions he can be heard on and the third is a reworking of a tune Martin had recorded with the great Stephane Grappelli. The essential spirit of Django is still represented here, but this CD establishes Pearl Django as more than a 'repertoire' band as they continue their trend of recording more and more originals.
