Life RankThe Life rank is the final step before achieving the prestigious Eagle Scout® rank. Scouts pursuing this rank must perform service in the community and also lead troop service activities. They must be an active Star Scout? for at least six months, earn a total of 11 merit badges, complete a minimum of six hours of work in Scoutmaster®-approved service projects, and exhibit a deep understanding of the Scout Oath? and Scout Law in their daily lives.This oval-shaped coin is dedicated to those who have achieved the Life rank. The obverse features the Life Rank Insignia. The reverse features a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy and brushed with an antique finish, this coin is accented on both sides with rich enamel highlights. Each coin comes packaged with a detailed header card that describes the outstanding achievement of earning the Life rank.
