These foam filter pads, custom made for the Rena Filstar xP Filter System, are the ideal thickness to filter small waste particles (2nd step of mechanical filtration), removing fine debris and solid waste materials from the water prior to entering the chemical and biological filtration chambers. For proper installation, place these pads into the bottom filtration compartment, above the 20ppi foam pad.
