These foam filter pads, custom made for the Rena Filstar xP Filter System, are the ideal thickness to filter large waste particles (1st step of mechanical filtration) and prevent coarse debris / solid waste material from entering the chemical and biological filtration chambers of the filter. For proper installation, place these pads into the bottom filtration compartment, beneath the 30ppi foam pad.
