- Robert Sorby 1/16 inch Parting Tool Micro Miniature Turning Tool
- The unique sizes and profiles of these micro tools have been adapted to provide the flexibility and control essential for fine, detail work. These tools are ideal for working on smaller projects and on smaller lathes.
- Blade made from high speed steel and then properly hardened and tempered. It will keep a sharpened edge about six times longer than carbon steel and resist "blued" softening from overheating during grinding or from heavy turning.
- Tool comes with hard White Ash handle and brass ferrule.
- Overall length is 10 inches, blade length is 3-3/4 inches
A smaller Parting Tool sized for the delicacy and control required for smaller projects and fine detail work. The 1/16" blade enables parts that are very precise. Parting Tool has a 6-1/4" handle and is 10" long overall. Ash handle. High Speed Steel (HSS) blade. Made in England.
