It can also be used for making fine lines and borders in Indian ink, gouache, drawing ink and art masking fluid. Excellent for line lines and drawing with ink or other liquids or thin colors.
• SUITABLE FOR USE WITH MASKING FLUID: Dip the ruling pen in the masking fluid and 'scratch' onto your paper, creating very fine lines that will be masked against the paint. Once you have painted your picture, you can remove the masking fluid to reveal very fine lines of unpainted areas on your paper. Great for grasses, small branches, rope, and other fine detail.
• SELECT THE WIDTH WITH THE SCREW ADJUSTER: This adjustable pen is ideal for applying masking fluid as well as for use with paint for creating fine details and lines. Adjust the width of the line required using the wheel then dip the pen into the masking fluid (or paint) then draw long, thin grasses.
• INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF RULING PEN: Adjust to your chosen line width, dip the ruling pen in your ink or alternatively masking fluid and draw onto the paper. It is possible to create very fine lines. If you use masking fluid, let it dry and paint your picture. Once your painting is dry remove the masking fluid to reveal the unpainted areas.
