When designers Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick set out to create a chair that was health-positive, cross-performing, inclusively sized, and environmentally sensitive, they arrived at a design unlike any the world had ever seen. But much has changed since their design for Aeron was introduced, so it only made sense that Aeron should also change to better meet the needs of today's work, workers, and environments. The premastered Aeron Chair features Posture Fit SL, an adjustable back support system that provides localized support for the sacral and lumbar regions of the spine. Other updates to the chair include a more refined tilt mechanism, more intuitive adjustments, and a finely tuned 8Z Pellicle seat and back suspension. Herman Miller's commitment to human-centered design is evident in Aeron's three sizes, which provide a personalized fit for more people than any other office chair. Guided by a height-weight ratio, Herman Miller recommends Size C for people between 5'3" and 6'6" in height and weighing between 180 and 300 pounds. People with body types outside that range should consider Size A or B chairs. Aeron's materials and finishes have also been reconsidered for today's environments. Mineral is the lightest of the three color options.
