The Kestrel 5500FW Fire Weather Meter Pro is your all-in-one hand-held belt weather kit, monitoring every critical weather measurement plus PIG (Probability of Ignition) and FDFM (Fine Dead Fuel Moisture). Monitor heading, wind direction and speed (current/average/max), cross/head/tail wind, altitude, pressure trend, barometric pressure, wet bulb and globe temperature, relative humidity, heat stress index, dewpoint, density altitude, wind chill, and air/water/snow temperature. The 5500FW features a large, backlit screen for easy viewing all conditions and has a user-replaceable impeller protected by a flip-top cover. The rugged design is fully waterproof (IP67), floats, and is drop tested to MIL-STD-810F standards for even the most demanding use. The 5500FW tracks, logs and charts thousands of time-stamped data points. Wireless Bluetooth LiNK technology allows you to transfer and monitor data from your iOS/Android device, and you can also connect with your Mac or PC to transfer data, perform updates and more (USB interface sold separately).
