Run by a series of master potters, the company took its name from the most colorful of the group, "Bossy" Mason. For the next 100 years, the potters turned out exceptional glazed earthenware kitchen items, which were distributed throughout the UK. In 1901, Tom Cash acquired the pottery, renaming it Mason Cash & Co. That same year, they produced the very first iconic Mason Cash mixing bowl, which has stood the test of time and remains a customer favorite today.
