Unlike a basic PWM Controller, the Commander is compatible with sealed lead-acid, flooded, and gel batteries (all deep cycle). This highly efficient charge controller keeps the batteries from becoming over-charged or over-discharged. This protection features increases the longevity of the battery bank. This high tech controller also features Multiphase Synchronous Rectification and Maximum Power Point Tracking technologies, which increase charging efficiency and improve system performance. Adding on the Renogy EP USB Connector will only further improve a solar power system by allowing for complete monitoring from a PC.
