Cultivated in France, (the fanciest farming location), Spike Lavender has camphor-like nuances similar to Eucalyptus and Rosemary underpinned by the tranquil beauty of florals. Not only does Spike Lavender inspire peace and calm, it helps a range of ailments including arthritis, rheumatism, digestive issues, colds, influenza and headaches. Spike Lavender also works amazingly well on the skin to clear up acne and fungal infections because of its antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Lavender is an evergreen plant that grows to about 3 feet and produces gorgeous lilac-colored flowers. To extract the oil, the flowers are put through a steam distillation process.
