The NDS catch basin filter fits the 12" catch basin. This removable, & easy-to-clean filter helps prevent dirt & debris from clogging the drainage system. The filter bag, made out of nonwoven, spun bonded, polypropylene geotextile fabric that provides superior filtration, inert to biological degradation, & resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, & acids, can holdup to 40 lbs. Without tearing. Its bypass feature allows water to flow to the catch basin even if the filter is full & is particularly useful after a heavy Storm water event. The filter comes pre-assembled, making it easy to install: unscrew the grate, drop the filter in & reinstall the grate.
