<b>About the C-30 Quick-Release Clamp</b><br><br>The C-30 is a 3.1 inch long, Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp with three 3/8" threaded mounting holes. It is designed to attach to a tripod head, or other piece of camera support equipment (e.g. a ball head, monopod, shoulder stock, etc.), giving you an attachment point for all of your cameras and lenses that have compatible Arca-Swiss style plates attached to them. Quick-release plates are sold separately<br><br>The C-30 clamp was made specifically for the old-style Wimberley Head (WH-100). The new version of the Wimberley Head (WH-200) has a built-in quick-release clamp, eliminating the need for the C-30. The added length of the C-30 (1.6" longer than the C-12) provides little added functionality for most applications. We recommend using the lighter and less expensive C-12 clamp.
