Hamon (tempered line): Distinct real hamon hand polished on. 5. Edge: Sharp, hand sharpened by Japanese whetstone. 6. Tsuka (handle): Genuine same (rayskin) and black Japanese cotton ITO (braid) with menuki (ornament). 7. Tang: Full tang with 2 mekugi (peg), engraved with black smith's signature. 8.
