Zippo's navy matte windproof lighter was introduced into Zippo's stock line in 1998. This Zippo matte lighter is created with a powder coat that is applied electrostatically to the brass case. The matte finish gives this lighter a smooth texture, doesn’t show fingerprints, and does not scratch as much as the chrome and brass finishes.
