Defrost & Reheat: Partially open the container by pulling up on the lid tab. This will allow steam to vent during the microwaving process. The container may be hot during microwaving, so handle carefully. Do not use Ziploc brand Containers in conventional ovens, under browning elements, or over stovetops.</p></div> <div id="text4" class="a-spacing-small"><p>To freeze: Fill the container to within 1/4" to 1/2" from the top to allow for freezer expansion, then snap on the lid to seal. Too much air space in the container can cause ice crystals to form.
