Many samples seem to glow under an ultraviolet light, in fact the word fluorescent is derived from fluorite. Fluorite is one of the most diverse stones. Fluorite occurs in many different colors. Blues, purples, and greens can all occur in the same deposit and even on the same stone. Each individual stone also has its own unique pattern and level of opacity.
