World Centric's 100% Biodegradable, 100% Compostable 8" PLA Wrapped Straw (Package of 200)
<p>Our line of biodegradable and compostable straws are made from PLA, a biodegradable resin made from corn starch. PLA resin is certified for biodegradability and compostability, under ASTM D6400-99 the North American standard for "compostable plastics" Instead of using petroleum based plastics which create toxicity and environmental pollution, you can now use our compostable alternatives. Our standard straws are 5mm in diameter. We also carry 8mm diameter jumbo straws for shakes and smoothies.</p>
