The Newton BOCO All Terrain Women's Running Shoe is named after Newton's home town of Boulder, Colorado, and features Newton's unique Action/Reaction impact-absorbing forefoot technology in a lightweight, all-terrain package inspired by and tested on the famous trails that are just a stone's throw from the company's headquarters. The forefoot of the shoe is engineered with four-lug cushioning technology, which offers protection for your feet from hard ground. The Action/Reaction technology provides both forefoot cushioning when you need it, and rebound when you want it. To provide strong grip on uneven ground, the shoe is also designed with multi-directional lugs. For further protection on the trail, the upper is constructed from a closed mesh, which prohibits dirt and debris from reaching the foot. The durable rubber toe bumper reinforces the shoe and also protects your toes from rocks and tree roots.
