A.B. Quintanilla III is a well known Mexican American record producer and musician. He is a native Texan of Mexican descent, the older brother of late Tejano singer Selena. In Corpus Christi, A.B. Quintanilla learned how to play the guitar and bass, and he became, alongside Selena, Suzette, and their father Abraham, a member of the successful band, Selena y Los Dinos. Selena later embarked on a solo career, with Los Dinos going on to play separately, and A.B. becoming Selena's producer. He has also produced for such entertainers as Thalia, Olga Tanon, and Cristian Castro. <P>A.B. Quintanilla has resurfaced in the music scene now with new album under the concept A.B. Quintanilla All Starz. "La Vida de Un Genio" will include 13 tracks and over 15 guest artists. The album essence goes back to the Kumbia Kings' core popular markets, with DJ Kane on vocals. The first single titled "Hipnotika" features Marciano from the well known Chilean group Enanitos Verdes and Urban / Latin hip-hop legend Voltio. Proven hit makers such has "Chiquilla," "Parace Que Va A Llover," and "Speedy Gonzalez" from previous album with Kumbia All Starz.
