Commander-In-Chief is a fun game of strategy where players try to capture their opponents commander or outscore their opponent over a specified period of time. A unique combination of chess and checkers the battlefields in this game are air land and sea. During the game air pieces such as bombers and helicopters can go over other pieces. Similarly certain sea pieces like submarines can go under pieces. Specialty pieces such as bombers and tanks can block. Multiple game-play options are available including team play object-of-the-game play and basic strategy play. Commander-In-Chief is recommended for two to four players ages 6 and up. Each game comes with 30 playing pieces 30 platform bases 10 aerial platform bases a one-minute sand timer a game board rules and two quick-start guides. The playing pieces and platform bases within the game can be painted if desired although paint is not included with this purchase.
