Things weren't supposed to be like this for Jim and Mae. <br /> <br />The were highly paid professionals enjoying a dream life until their twelve year old daughter dies of cancer. They struggle to repair their lives, Jim buries himself in work while Mae becomes a recluse. Their lives are crashing down to rock bottom until Julia arrives back in town. The teenage friend of Mae does her best to bring the grieving mother back into the world...while making a play for her husband.
