In 2006 I went off grid and converted my double wide mobile home to solar power. I had to learn more about deep cycle batteries. I included a last "bonus chapter" on this conversion process. I explain what equipment I used and how to calculate loads, battery bank capacity and the proper solar panel wattage for the RV conversion.
