<p>Praised by teachers for many years, this format is now easier to manage. Passages are carefully controlled to use only vocabulary and syntax already taught and tested. Reading-skills instruction and translation help prepare students for second-year Latin. Twenty lessons formerly in Level I are now at the beginning of Level II, thereby providing better overall pacing. </p>
