Please note: Please look at pictures carefully. Most keys do not stick to magnets. If you carry items that do attract to magnets on your keychain, you will have issues with the magnet sticking to them. This magnet will not adversely affect credit cards. Especially now that most cards have the built in chip and use that type of reader. You could ruin the stripe with deliberate effort, but it won't happen from incidental and occasional contact. This magnet will not work on some models of newer vehicles. If your door lock/unlock sensor is built into the key, you won't be able to leave the key in the ignition and lock the car from the outside. This quick release detachable key ring magnet is press fit into hand machined aluminum, which assures maximum durability. Never rusts, fails, or falls apart. Comes pre-assembled as pictured on package. Just reconfigure it for your purpose. For car key chain/ring configuration: Attach one small split ring to each end of magnet, then attach one end to your ignition key, and the other end to your large key ring that holds the rest of your keys.
