35 sonic spectacular albums from the early digital golden age when Decca s engineers brought digital recording and their proprietary Decca tree together to make a new DECCA SOUND.<br><br>A celebration of the nearly 25-year partnership between Dutoit and the OSM, when album after album enjoyed great reviews and sales.<br><br>Original Jackets in a lift-off lid, displaying a memorable era for Deccas artwork too.<br><br>The partnerships first Decca recording, Daphnis et Chloe (CD 1 of this set), captured the hearts of listeners around the world and the second recording, La Valse and Bolero (CD 2 of this set), became the first recording by a Canadian orchestra to go Platinum. <br><br>The venue for most of these recordings, Eglise St Eustache became one of Deccas most loved venues due to its acoustic. <br><br>This box coincides with Dutoits much anticipated return to Montreal after nearly 15 years.
