THE HEART SUTRA<br />Literally translates to "Heart of the Perfection of Transcendent Wisdom." The Heart Sutra is often cited as the best known and most popular of all Buddhist scriptures.<br />Translated by F. Max Muller, a German philologist and Orientalist, one of the founders of the western academic field of Indian studies and the discipline of comparative religion.<br /><br />THE DIAMOND SUTRA<br />well-known Mahayana sutra from the Prajnaparamita, or "Perfection of Wisdom" genre, and emphasizes the practice of non-abiding and non-attachment.
