<li>Stone Temple Pilots released their debut album in September 1992. The album, <i>Core</i> is now a classic, featuring such music/video favorites as "Sex Type Thing," "Plush" and "Wicked Garden."</li> <li><i>Purple</i>, the band's second album, was released in June 1994 and entered the <i>Billboard</i> Top 200 at #1, where is remained for three straight weeks. <i>Purple</i> contains giants such as "Vasoline," "Interstate Love Song" and "Big Empty."</li> <li><i>Tiny Music...Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop</i> was released in March 1996 and debuted Top 5. The band's third album includes the hits "Big Bang Baby" and "Lady Picture Show."</li> <li>1997 and 1998 saw the Pilots involved in various extracurricular activities: Talk Show, a project that includes Dean and Robert; and Scott released his solo album <i>12 Bar Blues</i>.</li> <li>October 1999 saw the release of <i>No. 4</i>, which yielded the hits "Down" and "Sour Girl." <i>Shangri-La Dee Da</i> followed in 2001.</li> <li>RIAA certifications include: <i>Core</i> 7x-platinum; <i>Purple</i> 5x-platinum; <i>Tiny Music... Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop</i> 2x-platinum; <i>No. 4</i> 1x-platinum. Other honors for the band over the years include a Grammy for "Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal" for "Plush," two American Music Awards, one <i>Billboard</i> Music Award, two <i>Billboard</i> Video Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award.</li>
