Disenchanted with his life in America, Joe Jeffries flies to Bangkok to pursue what his friend describes as "The rockstar dream on the backpacker budget." On his first night in Bangkok, however, terrorist bombs explode and his plans begin to go awry. As he soon discovers, the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the world.
