Ted Hearne, composer, singer, and bandleader, wrote this modern day oratorio for seven musicans and four singers. 'The Source"" tells the life and story of the US Army Private who leaked thousands of classified documents to WikiLeaks, Chelsea Manning. Mark Doten, the librettist for this interesting and thought provoking work, brings together Twitter feeds, cable news reports, court tesimonies, and declassified military videos to tel the story of Manning.
