A collection of routines (or portions of routines) culled from other Pryor CDs, <i>Supernigger</i> works best as an introduction to the comedian's standup act. If you've only seen the concert films and want to hear what all the fuss is about, <i>Supernigger</i> can whet your appetite. Anyone who's more than a casual fan, however, will likely be turned off by this CD's sloppy editing and jerky transitions from bit to bit. <i>Supernigger</i> still packs a few laughs--particularly if you've never heard Pryor before--but it will appeal most to rabid completists looking to round out their catalog and budding Pryor-philes primed for an overview. <i>--Michael Gerber</i>
