Stupid CCIE Tricks Series v5.0 - Section 3: Layer 2

This document is intended for those that need addition work on Cisco layer 2 technologies, specifically those found within the CCIE Routing and Switching exam. This document is broken into phases based on the CCIE R&S v5.0 blueprint. There are additional items within this document not found on the blueprint to cover those items that might be included, but just not listed (reading between the lines). Remember that the blueprint “topics are general guidelines for the content likely to be included on the lab exam. However, other related topics may also appear on any specific delivery of the exam.” Examples and exercises for switching are included to help build expertise with these technologies. I have also included CCIE exam type of scenarios to show how they may approach such items within the real exam. <br /> There is a section at the end that covers the ME3400 switch. I’ve decided to include that section for those that may be interested in the CCIE Service Provider certification. There is also a section on Catalyst QoS, for those needing that for the written test.
