Los Angeles-based rapper YG is currently working on his new album, Still Krazy, after enjoying a phenomenal year with his critically acclaimed #1 GOLD debut album My Krazy Life, hailed as a modern gangsta rap classic by Complex. The album was a collaboration between YG's independent Pu$haz Ink label, and fellow Def Jam artist Jeezy's Atlanta-based CTE label. The Top 5 RIAA multi platinum lead single, My N***a featuring Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan, won Track Of the Year and Best Collabo, Duo/Group at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. YG had the distinction of releasing two long-players within the space of one calendar year when his Top 10 autobiographical film-and-soundtrack EP project Blame It On The Streets followed My Krazy Life onto the hip-hop, R&B and pop charts.
