Solid steel, pry resistant plate steel doors, steel live action locking bolts and concealed hinges provide greater security. Electronic lock can easily be programmed by the user, it also contains a back up safety key should you forget your combination or the batteries should lose power. There is a time out period after 3 incorrect combination attempts. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the body make mounting the safe in the wall easy, built to fit between stud walls - 16" on center walls. Fastening hardware is included. Electronic lock can be programmed to beep when the numbers on the key pad are pressed or programmed so the beeps are turned off. These safes are California-approved Firearm Safety Devices that meet the requirements of Penal Code section 23655 and the regulations issued thereunder.
