The Spirit Indestructible is Nelly Furtado's first English-language studio album since 2006's double-platinum Loose, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, was certified multi-platinum in 32 countries, and sold 10 million copies worldwide. Loose also spawned three hit singles, including the No. 1's Promiscuous and Say It Right, both of which earned Furtado Grammy Award nominations. <br> <br>The Canadian-born singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist, who is of Portuguese descent, has enjoyed a vibrant and successful career as a multi-language superstar.
