<p>This manual provides both the solutions and datasets to the exercises presented at the end of chapters in <em>Implementing Six Sigma: Second Edition</em>, which was awarded ASQ’s Crosby medal in 2004.</p> <p><strong>The update for <em>Implementing Six Sigma: Second Edition</em></strong> is the book titled <em>Integrated Enterprise Excellence, Volume III – Improvement Project Execution: A Management and Black Belt Guide for Going Beyond Lean Six Sigma and the Balanced Scorecard</em>.</p> <p><strong><em>Integrated Enterprise Excellence, Volume III</em> also has a solutions manual with data sets to over 250 end-of-chapter exercises</strong>. Instructors can use <em>IEE Volume III</em> to actively coach students on the whats and how-tos of improvement project execution. A <strong>complimentary instructor guide</strong> for training from this book will be sent to those who request this teaching-instructional package from the author. Videos, homework exercises, etc. are included in this trainers-guide offering.</p> <p>Unfortunately, Lean Six Sigma organizational process deployments often are not long-lasting. The Integrated Enterprise Excellence (IEE) was created to address this problem. <em>IEE Volume I</em> provides a description of the benefits of the IEE system in a golfing story format in which four MBA friends discuss process improvement while playing golf. <em>IEE Volume II</em> describes the 9-step IEE business management system, which among other things uses an IEE value chain to align 30,000-foot-level predictive scorecards with the processes that created them. <em>IEE Volume II</em> also describes the details of determining where lean Six Sigma improvement projects should focus so that the business as a whole benefits.  <em>Integrated Enterprise Excellence Volume III</em> describes the roadmap details for executing improvement efforts so that the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are important to the business can be improved with a demonstrated long-lasting enhanced response resulting in business-as-a-whole benefit.  </p>
