It WILL bring a smile to your face.<br><br><br>Band leaders Stephen and Brian Butler are joined by Fran Smith Jr. on bass and percussionist David Uosikkinen of the Hooters for this album. Long time friends and bandmates from the Philadelphia area, the four musicians have created their finest work to date. Smash Palace will be touring extensively in support of the new release and revisiting favorites from the past. <br><br><br>The Butler brothers fronted the project Quincy in the early '80s, releasing a record on Columbia and gaining steam until producer Quincy Jones put an end to that. Unhappy with the name Quincy, Jones sent the Butler brothers a cease-and-desist. However the Butlers forged on and reformed as Smash Palace in 1985. The band released a self-titled album on Epic in 1985 that enjoyed MTV rotation and high profile tours.
