Is there a better or more beautiful reason for lack of a good night`s sleep than Adept? These Swedes have been around since 2004, and with their diverse brand of post hardcore / metalcore they've easily turned into Scandinavia`s best known genre export – whilst also proving with their fourth full length that years of sweaty live shows and persistence have provided the ultimate fine-tuning! The band has been working on Sleepless for the past year and have now brought the album to life through the infamous Studio Fredman. The result is evident after one listen of the album's opener ‘Black veins‘ – which not only speaks volumes about the oft-cited maturity, it also shows that Adept has found the perfect balance between raging metal and lofty post arrangements.
