Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1981 album from the Soul band fronted by Freddie Jackson. Mystic Merlin were originally known as Mystic Merlin's Magic Band and used to incorporate magic tricks into their live shows, they later dropped this gimmick and were taken seriously on the Soul and Dance Scene. Main vocals in Mystic Merlin were occasionally provided by Jackson who went onto have a hugely successful solo career with ten R&B #1 singles as well as seven R&B top ten hits. Sixty Thrills a Minute was produced by Alan Abrahams following his work with David Cassidy and Memphis Horns, he later went onto produce the likes of Tavares and Joan Baez. 'Got to Make It Better' saw Mystic Merlin make their first appearance on the R&B chart peaking at #82. The follow up single, 'Sixty Thrills a Minute' fared even better gaining them the #76 position.
