September, a pseudonym for Petra Markland, is a pop and dance singer who has reached the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Top 10 two times with her internationally acclaimed 2005 single "Satellites' and 2006 single 'Cry For You'. While danceable and catchy, the songs always have its base in Petra's dark, surprisingly sad voice that lingers in your ears, making them stick out from the hit parades on the radio.
