Electronic Scripto lighters are easy to use and reliable with a push button ignition and a luxurious metallic look. Although as required by law Scripto electronic are child resistant, for an adult they are fairly simple to use. All that is necessary is a push down on the ignitor at a 45 degree angle which presses down on 2 points. Since the effort needed is only 50% on each point, lighting a cigar or cigarette does not require too much force as long as the lighter ignitor is being pressed at a 45 degree angle. The Scripto electronic lighter will not light if pressed straight down to prevent children from being able to use the lighter.
