I didn’t know what to think when he came into my room. My heart raced violently, as if it knew what was coming next. He didn’t speak, and neither did I; we both just stared at each other. I rose up from my chair as he moved slowly closer, and he touched my cheek gently. That simple touch sent a violent shiver down my spine, and he chuckled lowly before he bent down to place a tender kiss upon my lips. I felt like my heart was going to burst from my chest, and I knew this was wrong… but I didn’t care. I pressed into him, and he wrapped an arm around me. He was so gentle. Despite all that had happened, I felt right when I was with him.
