Upper The Salewa Wildfire Vent Walking Shoes are a low profile shoe, constructed from a minimally padded light mesh making them extremely breathable. Exa Shell Over Injected 3D Cage wraps durable ballistic mesh around the foot providing stability and protection from rocky and uneven surfaces as well as providing a precise fit. Salewa's 3F System Evo technology uses aluminum to enhance flexibility and movement of the foot, without losing much-needed support that steep climbs can demand. The Microfiber Forefoot gives added comfort during long hikes, whilst the climbing laces enable a snug and secure fit. Midsole An EVA Midsole provides excellent cushioning and shock absorption when tacking tough terrain. Outsole The outsole is a Vibram's Tech Approach sole with a MegaGrip compound rubber, a sticky grip with minimal tread to maximise grip on all surfaces. Featuring additional padding at the rearfoot, it provides excellent cushioning and heel shock absorption.
