This mirror is made from tempered glass. Tempered glass is stronger and safer than regular glass. It is not as shatter resistant as acrylic, though, so you will need to take care not to drop it.
Glass is much more resilient than acrylic to scratches and other forms of abrasions, however, it still can be scratched so take care not to rub it with anything particularly abrasive.

One side is more reflective than the other. You'll want to face the reflective side towards where you want to see a reflection. You can tell which side has the reflective material by putting a small object like a pen cap against the mirror and seeing which side has a smaller gap between the reflection and the object. The side with the smaller gap is the side with the reflective material. Please see FAQ in description area below for more useful info.
