The TRIBBLE homeworld jungles are populated by voracious cat-like predators of all sizes. Some of these predators are very fast. Because a TRIBBLE cannot outrun a fast predator, evolution has provided a bizarre adaptation. The ÒcheetahÓ TRIBBLE has evolved to look like the cub of the predator. This allows it to live within the predator families unharmed and protected from other predators.
