SSG 10 Below Waterproof Gloves Featuring four layers of warmth, SSG 10 Below gloves provide proven waterproof protection in cold weather. Along with the knitted cuff and stretch back, these gloves are lined with Thinsulate and polar fleece. The warmest thin glove insulation available, even in damp conditions, Thinsulate provides about 11/2 times the warmth of down, and about twice the warmth of other high loft insulation materials. Polar fleece is a soft napped insulating synthetic wool fabric that is comfortable to wear, very warm and provide a lightweight warmth -- a good alternative for those that are allergic or sensitive to wool.
