In addition to its ability to shift through a staggering 12-cog cassette, the X01 Eagle Trigger Shifter features a brand new internal shifting mechanism that results in a more precise trigger feel and smoother shift action compared to its 11-speed predecessor. It also still includes SRAM's Zero Loss technology for nearly instant shift response when you throw the lever heading into a steep climb or revving up out of a corner. The updated internals boast improved longevity, as well as the ability to upshift by five gears at a time. The shifter also comes with SRAM's Matchmaker compatibility, allowing it to integrate cleanly with the rest of your cockpit and letting you keep the shifter, as well as various suspension and dropper post remotes, arranged in one easy-to-access location on the bars.
